In celebration of Black History Month, University of the West is hosting a pair of live discussions. The first event featured Dr. Pamela Ayo Yetunde on February 15. Dr. Yetunde spoke on her latest book, Black & Buddhist. The discussion was co-moderated by Rev. Dr. Jitsujo Gauthier, Chair of the Buddhist Chaplaincy Department, and actor-comedian and NAACP Image Award-nominated writer, Dave Carter.
The second event will be another live discussion, this time featuring Dr. Larry Ward, who will discuss his latest book, America's Racial Karma: An Invitation to Heal. This event will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 6:00pm PST and will again be moderated by Dave Cater. The event is free and open to everyone. To register, click here.
