For Buddhist Chaplaincy and Ministry Students and Alumni,
The Zen Peacemakers International, founder by Tetugen Bernie Glassman, will be starting an 'Order' this year. The Order will provide training pathways in the Three Tenets, Zen practice, peacemaking and path-making, ZPO Rule, Five Wisdom Families Mandala approach, Order of Disorder, Way of Council, and study of Buddha-Dharma.
This is a 2-year mentored and community building training that will culminate in ZPO ordination. The first cohort will be small to foster connection, and integrate the work folks may already be doing in areas of social action, entrepreneurship, interfaith ministry, clowning, healthcare, ecology/sustainability, etc. Much of the classes/trainings will occur online.
There is an information session on June 2, 2021 (9-10:30am PST) 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM EDT if you are interested learning more about being a candidate for ZPO.
Registration is free. Click here to register.
This maybe a good option for those of you who are looking for sangha. Feel free to forward to anyone you think maybe interested, and contact me if you have any questions,
🙏🏻 Jitsujo
